1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website at www.greenitrecovery.com or by scheduling a pickup with Green IT Recovery Inc. ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Our Services

Green IT Recovery Inc. provides e-waste collection and responsible electronics recycling services throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario, Canada. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Free pickup of electronic waste from residential, corporate, educational, and government locations
• Responsible recycling and disposal of electronic equipment
• Certificates of destruction for businesses and institutions upon request
• Asset inventory reporting for corporate clients
• On-demand and scheduled pickup services

3. Pickup Requests & Scheduling

Submitting a pickup request form on our website does not constitute a confirmed appointment. A member of our team will contact you to confirm the details, date, and time of your pickup.

We reserve the right to:

• Decline or cancel pickup requests at our discretion
• Reschedule appointments due to operational requirements or unforeseen circumstances
• Limit the volume or type of items accepted at any given pickup

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred date and time but cannot guarantee availability.

4. Accepted Items

We accept a wide range of electronic equipment including computers, laptops, monitors, printers, mobile devices, servers, cables, and other electronics. Acceptance of specific items is at our discretion.

We do not accept:

• Household appliances (fridges, washing machines, microwaves, etc.)
• Hazardous materials or chemicals
• Items containing asbestos or other regulated substances
• Any items that are illegal to possess or transfer under Canadian law

If you are unsure whether an item qualifies, please contact us before scheduling a pickup.

5. Data Security & Data Destruction

While we take reasonable measures to destroy data on devices we collect, it is the responsibility of the customer to remove or wipe all personal, confidential, or sensitive data from devices prior to pickup. Green IT Recovery Inc. is not liable for any data remaining on devices after collection.

Certificates of destruction are available upon request for corporate and institutional clients. Please indicate this requirement when submitting your pickup request.

6. No Fees

Our standard e-waste pickup service is provided free of charge for most items and locations within the GTA. In certain cases involving unusually large volumes, special equipment, or remote locations, additional fees may apply. Any applicable fees will be communicated to you before the pickup is confirmed.

7. Customer Responsibilities

When scheduling a pickup, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete contact and pickup address information
• Ensure items are accessible and ready for collection at the agreed time
• Remove all personal data from devices prior to pickup
• Not submit hazardous, illegal, or non-qualifying items for collection
• Be present or designate a responsible adult at the pickup location

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Green IT Recovery Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

• The use or inability to use our website or services
• Loss of data remaining on collected devices
• Delays or cancellations of scheduled pickups
• Any reliance placed on information provided on this website

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the value of the services directly involved in that claim.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Green IT Recovery Inc. and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written permission.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
