Large Appliances
Refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and ovens - try your municipal bulk pickup.
Instead: Contact your city's bulk waste program or a licensed appliance hauler.
Hazardous & Chemical
Smoke detectors, fluorescent tubes, paint, solvents, and pressurized canisters require hazardous-waste depots.
Instead: Drop off at your nearest municipal hazardous-waste depot.
Medical Equipment
MRI, CT, X-ray, and other clinical-grade equipment require certified medical asset disposal channels.
Instead: Contact a certified medical waste disposal company in your region.
Loose Lithium Batteries
Damaged, swollen, or punctured lithium-ion batteries pose fire risks. Use a battery-specific drop-off depot.
